Use the ADAPTIL® Junior Puppy Collar to help your puppy in the following situations: first ride into the new home; night jawing; unusual situations; stay at home alone; learning new rules; socialisation. Mother dogs communicate with their puppies via a natural messenger substance released into the ambient air: relaxation message (scientifically referred to as dog appeasing pheromones). This odourless relaxation message can only be perceived by dogs and neither by humans nor other animals. These relaxation messages give puppies a strong sense of security and security. ADAPTIL® Junior conveys these “feel-good messages” to give your puppy a good feeling while exploring his world and learning the rules of the new life. So ADAPTIL® Junior helps that your puppy feels as comfortable in your family as with his mother. ADAPTIL® Junior is recommended from adoption to age 6 months. ADAPTIL® Junior should be worn by the puppy without interruption. After 1 month it should be replaced with a new collar. With ADAPTIL® Junior, your puppy knows he’s part of the family. How do I put on the ADAPTIL® Junior puppy collar? Place a finger in the plastic loop inside the collar near the buckle. Use the loop to remove the thin plastic to unwind the collar. Close the collar in a wide position. Pull it over the puppy’s head until it lies loose on the neck. Gently pull the collar tighter until it lies loosely on the pet’s coat but not too loose. Make sure the collar is properly closed. Cut off the protruding part of the collar. There should be no more than two fingers between the collar and the neck. Check the fit of the collar regularly. It must fit the puppy’s neck permanently. As puppies are growing, the collar seat should be checked and adjusted regularly so that the collar is not too tight.
